Marvel has been hinting at it in teaser ads for awhile now,”
Everything is Connected,” they read hinting at the fact that
there maybe a bigger picture for the Ultimate Universe then
first thought.

I’m not really sure how he has time; But Brian Michael Bendis
brings us another Universe shattering event for Marvel.
Instead of an Invasion though, he’s going to show us how
every super hero in the Ultimate World is somehow born from
the same thing. From Captain America, to the Hulk, to Nick
Fury even we’re going to see how the super soldier serum
went from a weapon to a genome changing mutation and I’m
excited as hell.

Now I don’t have a full opinion on this one yet, because I really
think I need to read the second issue first. Like I said above,
this is either going to be great or its going get really silly. I don’
t know, but I do know that Bendis has got my attention and it’s
a far better read the Loeb’s Ultimates Three.

BURN.
Ultimate Origins #1 is either one of the most ingenious plot ideas or it’s totally
going to bomb. I can’t tell.
First we had to choose sides, now we can’t trust anyone. What’s going to
happen next in the Marvel Universe? I sure as hell don’t know, but I do know I’m putting my
bet in Norman Osburn.
Who else would have the balls to take a situation that is
spiraling out of control and invite his attacker to sit down for a
chat and a drink? Who else would see an Invasion as a
chance to get the upper hand on those dastardly super heroes
that are always bringing him down? Who else would only want
one thing, his own survival? Norman Osburn, and he’s the one
former villain I think we should be watching.

For those of you that haven’t been reading Thunderbolts,
Normie has been the perfect picture of craziness since he
“reformed” and took over as head of the Thunderbolts. After a
bout of not taking his meds he has switched back and forth
between the Green Goblin personas and would be the only one
crazy enough to strike a deal with the Skrulls.

Sure, other things happened in Secret Invasion this week,
Maria Hill was asked to surrender by a butler, Tony Stark is
propositioned by Spider-Woman (ok more happened there but
I don’t want to give away too much) and all hell broke loose for
the Young Avengers and the Initiative.
But with all of that happening, just those two pages of Osburn offering a Skrully Captain
Marvel a drink and a conversation stands out mostly in my head and I can’t help but
wonder what the crazy S.O.B. is going to do next.

Red Mass for Mars .....What can I really say about it? I've ben waiting for a few
monthes for it? I was massively confused by it the first time I read it? I loved it the second
time I read it even though I still was slightly confused but since I realize what the general
plot is I kinda could follow it?

Ya, those are all true.

Red Mass for Mars is Jonathan Hickman's next venture into the  sci-fi/super hero genre and
boy was I confused.
Hickman tells a story by showing us different versions/times of
Earth and the heroes that live there, which resulted in a lot of
jumping around that was strung together by our unwilling
"anti-Hero's" narraration. WOW....didn't we see this recently in a
DC comic?

The story telling from Hickman is free flowing as always, but this
time it's a little hard to follow, but I'm hoping when the second
issue of Red Mass for Mars hits stands our "Heroes" will be
drawn together into a easier to read story.
You know when I say
stupid crap like.....
"this is
the book you gotta read" and "you really need to read this" and
"OMG, this is the best thing ever", well this book really is all that
and a bag of chips so far.

Marvel's space heroes came together after this years
Annhilation to form the Guardians of the Galaxy and the writting
team of Abnett and Lanning plan to keep them fighting for as
long as they can.

The two Annhilation Saga's were probably Marvel's most under
rated series of the last few years. Slowly building followers  with
each volumes the story telling was stellar and the action didn't
stop  through out the hole series.
With Giffen becoming a DC exclusive Abnett and Lanning took over and knocked our socks
off with Annihliation Conquest. After our miss matched heroes split ways at the end of
Conquest, Marvel gave the go ahead to launch Guardians of the Galaxy and the creative
team just got even better as the gave a go at their second on- going book.

Stationed in the Reborn Adam Warlocks secret hideout, Knowhere, our team has already
had to battle with their current nemesis' The Mighty Church of Truth, Grieved over lost loves
and drank to their newly formed team, but what happens in issue two just gets out of hand.

This book is incredibly good and should be read by anyone out there that likes a bit of Sci Fi.
WOW....was issue 2 Trinity already a BIG
let down or what.

Here's my thought on this...the premise is already bizarre and
allwe got out of the second issue is another full helping of bizarre
with a side of queer.

I loved the first issue, great opener to a series that I have really
have no clue what's going on, but I would prefer to have a bit
more answers sooner than later.
WOW, can anyone say boring??? I
can..BORING.

In a series that so far has been just one exciting turn after
another why did we need this book?

Sure it help flesh out Captain Marvel's role in the invastion, I
mean it's not like he didn't already have his own mini before the
invasion started or anything.

I must admit that i did find Agent Brands story amusing, but I
just think she's the cats meow.

The rest of them were just ok which disappoints me since I was
looking forward to the Agents of Atlas story by Jeff Parker but I
was sooo  bored by the time I got there I just didn't care.
